Aquatic Weed Removal

We specialize on restoring your pond or lakefront so that you can fully enjoy your waterways once again.

The Process

Florida is a great place to live. However, the same mild climate that attracts thousands of visitors every year to the Sunshine State also makes it an ideal environment for weed growth.  This in turn can rapidly transform your beautiful waterfront property into an unusable eyesore.

We follow a tested and proven process to help you recapture and maintain the natural beauty of your waterfront home.

Step 1

Permit or Proceed

We handle the paperwork so you don’t have to.

In many cases, Florida law requires homeowners to obtain a permit from the Fish and Wildlife Commission prior to controlling or removing aquatic vegetation.

Certian water bodies are exempt from this restriction; many are not.  We will let you know if a permit is necessary for your property and if so, we will walk you through the process to complete the free application with the state. If applicable, once the permit is granted, we will return to complete the work.

Step 2

Pull, Prevent, or Pair

We target the roots, literally.

We go to the root of the problem and get into the weeds so that you don't have to!

By far the most effective, longest-lasting solution is to deal  with the weeds by targeting the roots. That is what we do, so that you can get back to enjoying your waterfront view.

Step 3

Preserve and Prevent

"An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure." - Benjamin Franklin

Maintaining a shoreline is no different from any other form of lawn care. Sorry to disappoint you, but there are NO permanent solutions for complete removal of the weeds from your waterfront property.

In a universe subject to the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics, things have a tendency to get more and more disordered unless we put energy in to counteract the decline.  In Florida, this means that aquatic weeds will keep encroaching unless deliberate steps are taken to stall their advance.

We can help with that as well!  After the initial removal, follow-up visits can be scheduled to maintain your pristine views. If done regularly, these visits should be much quicker and cheaper.
